Позиция С-25

Abandoned positions of the S-25 Berkut anti-aircraft missile system

In instagram: here and here
Recently, me with a team of my friends-stalkers explored a forest with the ruins of an abandoned position of the C-25 Berkut anti-aircraft missile system. This military object is a part of the system created in the USSR for the defense of Moscow. We are talking about the famous two rings of Moscow air defense. The C-25 system (according to NATO classification - SA-1 Guild) was the first to be adopted by the USSR as a model of anti-aircraft guided missile weapons (the target height range was 5-15 km). A further development of the ideas embodied in the C-25 was the creation of the C-75, C-125, C-200, C-300 air defense systems. Not so long ago, I wrote about the military ghost town Adular. So, people who once lived in this town, served this position C-25.

Я в инстаграм

I'm on Instagram

I categorically cannot find time for full posts here on the site. I hope someday the situation will change. However, at least to minimally share interesting things in my life I started an account on Instagram
The posting there much faster and easier than here. However, my specifics are almost the same: travels, walks on estates, abandones and other interesting places, graffiti what I have seen and all that sort of thing.
In general, if you are interested in my creativity, then welcome!

Abandoned nuclear power plant

Crimean nuclear power plant. Unfinished. Willingness is about 80%. Construction was started in 1975 and suspended after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Finally, construction was stopped in 1989 due to economic problems in the USSR. Since then, the construction and unique construction equipment have been sold and dismantled for scrap.
From 1995 to 1999 there were discos of the festival "Republic of Kazantip". The advertisement read: "Nuclear party in the reactor". Also, a lot of films and music videos were shot here. It is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's most expensive nuclear reactor. This nuclear power plant has a twin brother, 100 km from Berlin (one-type, also abandoned, willingness is about 85%).
Unfortunately, upon arrival at the nuclear power plant, it turned out that my camera was discharged for no apparent reason, so I shot everything on the Sony Xperia Z3 compact phone, so the quality of the photos turned out to be appropriate. Also, it was difficult for me to photograph on the sites of a sharp transition from darkness to light. The inside of the nuclear power plant is dark, and outside it was a sunny day.

Город-призрак Адуляр

Ghost-town Adular

This abandoned military town is located near the village of Fedorovka Volokolamsky district. Here lived the military servicemen of the anti-aircraft missile system S-25 "Golden eagle" (NATO — OTAN — SA-1 Guild), which was once part of the Moscow missile defense belt.
Currently, there are hanging out strikeball players, all sorts of loafers like us, and even, according to rumors, power structures are training.
